Sleme walking trail

The Sleme walking trail is marked in yellow and follows a loop along a wide forest path along the slopes of Sleme, with the possibility of an easy ascent to the top (1327 m). With extra caution, a particularly attractive short climb to the top of Treska (1234 m) is available for those who are a little more skilled. It offers a real “Velebit” atmosphere – from the dense beech forest and juniper pines, you come to a rocky headland with beautiful views of the sea and the wooded hinterland. The return trip takes you via the Sušak mountain refuge.
