In every season, a walk along the forest roads and paths of Loza and Lužina provides a special experience for many hikers, recreationists and runners. Following the forest road from Crekvina, not far from the deep Knež dol hollow, you will reach the ‘Zvirić’ area. You can continue towards the ‘Stanić’ rest area, and we suggest climbing to the peak, i.e. Stanić vrh (465 m), which offers a beautiful view of the surrounding villages. Continue along the path towards the village of Brajani. Be sure to visit the deserted village of Cari, which has withstood lush vegetation and the ravages of time for years. Cari is an outstanding example of the traditional rural architecture of the Kastav region. The last inhabitant left the village in 1943. You will return to Kastav along the forest road, passing Belićev breg and the hamlet of Brnini.
